Hello all,

So 7 months into our AOS process, I get an update, which turns out to be an RFE. The content of the RFE is Form G-325a: Submit a fully completed and signed Form G-325A, Biographic Information. The form you submitted was the Form G325, not the Form G325A that is required.

So turns out I made a careless mistake and printed out the wrong form, even though on my checklist I had G-325A. Silly me :bonk:

This being our first RFE, I wanted to make sure that I do not make any mistakes, so here are a few questions:

1. In filling out the new G-325A form, I will be copying from our G-325 form, but should I include my husbands new work information in the U.S.? He has been working part-time since last month

2. How should a cover letter look like or is the blue notice of action enough?

3. Should I send 2 passport photos for the G-325A just in case (they were not requested)?

3. Anything else I am missing?

Thank you in advance!

1. Yes you need to outline all current and up to date information on the G325A.

2. We did a cover letter and also attached a copy of the RFE letter, wait a tiny bit and somebody would be able to help you out in case something else need to be attached.

3. Yes, you need two passport size photographs.

4. Be very careful whilst going through the RFE and send them exactly what they want, how they want it. Best of luck!

Yep, update the information. That would be answering truthfully.

2. How should a cover letter look like or is the blue notice of action enough?

It's not required to have a over letter however when you have more than a few documents(especially pictures that are easy to fall out and get misplaced) I'd recommend it

3. Should I send 2 passport photos for the G-325A just in case (they were not requested)?

Yes, because the instructions for the G325 asks for pictures that are less than a month old(as far as I remember).

3. Anything else I am missing?

If it can't fit into the return envelope, tape the envelope to a bigger one and simply squeeze your stuff in there. The return envelope has a barcode on it.

Thank you in advance!
