Now i got (actually my fried got) the APPROVAL letter dated October 18th - date of my nervous Infopass, i wonder if Infopass really helped or was it a coincidence???? so officer didn't lie to get rid of me, it was approved.

2 months after address change, after numerous calls and 2 info-passes when both oficers confirmed that they see my new address on file, USCIS STILLsent my approval letter to my OLD ADDRESS!!! i guess i will just ask my friend to look for my greencard in his mail, since US CIS is so stubborn....

Dear VJ people, never try to attempt address change with USCIS - just doesnt work and slows down case progress, get mail forwarding.

i was busy to update- i got 10yr card on Oct 29 made a copy and immediately filed my N400 package

here's my full timeline: i will delete it from my signature

Oct 2004 - got 2yr GC

Sep 2006 Left the US

Oct 12 2006 I-751 receipt in California SC

Oct 26 NOA 1

Nov 1 Biometrics letter (scanned), appointment on Nov 15

Nov 2006 July 2007 rescheduling biometrics

Aug 13 dated RFE letter (scaned)

Aug 24 - address change, case touch

Sep 5 package with RFE documents received at CSC

Sep 18 dated second biometrics letter (code 1) for October 16, 2007

Sep 19 Infopass - stamp - extention till sep 18 2008

Sep 27 second biometrics walk-in

Oct 18 - Infopass, officer said "approved"

Oct 18- dated letter came Oct 25 - NOA2.

Oct 24 - email - Card production ordered, case touch

Oct 29 - 10 year card received in mail

Oct 30 - N400 received

Nov 9 - check cashed
