K1 Visa request to expedite due to humanitarian grounds

Hi, I applied for my fiance two years ago and he had his interview at the New Delhi embassy at the end of 2010. He was asked to provide further proof due to the fact that we had not had a "proper engagement" Right before our engagement my Grandmother passed away, and we ended up having a small engagement at home. After this we decided to just forget the fiance visa and just go ahead and get married in India. 2011 and 2012 have been very hectic years, therefore, I was planning on visiting India in the next few months in 2012 so that we could plan our wedding for the beginning of 2013. But before booking my ticket, I was given a huge shock. I have been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and have surgery scheduled for August 13, 2012. Radiation will be followed after surgery. My mother also found out in the same month that she has breast cancer. So our plans for a big wedding in India have been cancelled and we referred back to the fiance visa so that my fiance can be here before my surgery and we can have a court marriage right away. Having him by my side will provide me emotional support for myself and in helping my mother. So we wrote to the embassy to expedite based on humanitarian grounds and also provided a lot of evidence of our relationship in the past 3 years.

We heard back from the embassy for my fiance to have another medical and come in for an interview at the embassy. I cannot tell you how happy it made us, that we had another chance to be together soon. But finally my question is, what kind of documents should my fiance take and what kind of questions should he be prepared for at the interview? We really want this to happen asap so that he can be by my side. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

get your medical reports stating your condition , as well if your doctor can write a note.
