And that is at the center of the issue. Should the Federal Government be able to legislate on marriage in the State of [enter State name]?

I don't know in which parts you live, but someone ought to tell those people that if they see two guys holding hands on the streets, they may wish to look the other way if they don't like what they see.

Here in America assault is a crime, in California, and the other 49 States as well.

There's absolutely no reason (other than ignorance) to compare homosexuality to incest. If two consenting adults want to live their lives together, who are you or anyone else, to tell them they can't?

They were adults, they loved each other, they wanted to be together, they had sex together, they made babies....satisfies every bit of your argument. Where does ignorance come into this? Once they discovered their relationship was considered morally and socially wrong, they continued to do it, they were punished for it...well he was anyway.

Interesting you should mention that. In some States is is perfectly legal to marry your cousin.

Speaking of morally and socially wrong, should incest not be on the same category as divorce then?
