Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about this. It's the dreaded waiting period, we had to go through it. Try to keep yourself busy. Keep in communication with your loved-one, try a new hobby, take a class in something that interests you. Just try not to drive yourself crazy. Maybe in the next 3 weeks you'll be approved, maybe this week.

Come on!!!

105 days is nothing. Its a pity that your case is being processed at Vermont. However; CA centre have been working extremely hard and approve petitions. Our petition was approved in 139 days. Few days before the exact 5months.

Stay strong and patience patience patience

All the best of luck!!!

yes 105 days is way too soon to expect a NOA2, especially now since Vermont and California have been taking long approving petitions. It seems that petitions sent between mid January are not being worked on as of right now..well most of them. So I say, stay calm and positive because if you don't then this process will DRAIN you mentally! You will need all the energy you can for NVC stage and interview process. Good luck! :star:

I know 105 is probably not a long time for some of you guys but to me it's been hard, sometimes I wake up strong but some days I wake up emotional and today is on of those days..... Is that I really miss him, I talk to him everyday for long period is times but even with that being said its not the same. I can't wait to have him next to me....

believe it we understand!!!! I passed 125 days and then 1 more month to find out my interview date. There is people who wait about 9 months for their petition to be approved. We're just trying to encourage you, prepare you for what's to come (in regards to waiting time & NVC stage) and motivate you to stay strong because stressing out is not going to get you nowhere. I'm sure youll get good news when you hit your 4-6 months mark.

Ways that I kept myself occupied was reading through everyone's journey, and preparing myself for the interview and AOS, because technically you don't have much to wait!

:wow: You are preaching to the choir!

My fiancee and I started this visa process last October. Yes, last 31 October 2011. She and her son will finally be arriving here in seventeen (17) days, 26 July 2012 (but, who is counting?? :clock: ). And our story and timeline, while without delays, is by no means singularly unique. Our petition was approved in 147 days (thank the Higher Power!) There are people here that have been on their visa journey for YEARS! I take my hat off to them for their perseverance, you want to start talking about a long time!

It is not a walk in the park  for anyone embarking on their visa journey, but the end results are worth it. Keep the faith !!!

Good luck on your visa journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

I'm sure it ain't a walk in the park, but I guess you don't know how hard it is till you in it like all of us.... Congrats on ur family arriving, wishing u nothing but blessings?

Hang in there, it will get better!

I will say that this whole journey is but a group of exercises in patience and waiting.

Of course, there is the well-known NOA1 to NOA2 period. However, lately, due to a number of factors, transfer times (USCIS -> NVC, NVC -> consulate), processing times (consulate, AOS, ROC), etc., of the various federal bureaucracies have now been extended/stretched/strung-out, the net result being all of us visa trekkers are all in the same "hurry-up-and-wait" mentality.

Like I said before.....keep the faith!
