Hi!We applied for Employment Authorization based on a pending asylum application on the June 3. On the June 19 my husband got notice form I-797 that they reseived his application on June 5 and it's in process. My case they sent me back because I did't sign. Processing time for EAD based on a pending asylum application is 3 weeks. Today is June 29 and my husband is still on the second step( initial review ). Is it ok? Should we do something?

Did he get a biometrics appt? Or one is not required for asylumee?

06.08.12 - AOS mailed
09.18.12 - Interview.....Approved!!

ROC- Divorce Waiver
05/09/14- I-751 packet mailed to CSC
05/12/14- NOA1 Receipt date
07/01/14- Biometrics Appt

08/11/14- RFE received

09/08/14- RFE response received by USCIS

09/22/14- 10yrs GC Approved!!

Did he get a biometrics appt? Or one is not required for asylumee?

He did not. We sent copy of Form I-797 (Fingerprint Notification). We were fingerprinted and photographed on the JAN 13 2012. So, I think his biometrics have not been expired yet?!
