got the notice for biometrics yesterday. its gonna be on june.29,2012 but the thing i hate is we have to go on vacation on the 28 till 12 and theres no way to change the flight we already paid out the tickects. no friends can help us also because were new in town. we called uscis they said we have to send them back the notice and reschedule it again. so i decide to reschedule my appointment.. i hate waiting again for another 2 weeks or so but i cant do nothing =( but i know im on the way there... and its gonna be okay.

You should have tried the walk in biometrics.Some people here in vj received their biometrics appointment letter but due to inconvenient schedules they tried to go for an early walk-in biometrics. Some succeeded and some failed.But it's worth a try though.They were thinking that if they reschedule they might not be able to get the rescheduled biometrics sooner and will make this whole process even longer than it is.

Yes, a lot of members that have had luck with walkin appointments. You should always try it walkin first.

05/22/2012 - MAILED AOS PACKAGE.
06/04/2012 - RECEIVED NOTICE IN THE MAIL.
06/04/2012 - RECEIVED BIOMETRICS APPOINTMENT IN THE MAIL.
06/06/2012 - WALK IN BIOMETRICS COMPLETED.
07/11/2012 - TEXT AND EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS OF I-485 INTERVIEW APPOINTMENT.
07/13/2012 - RECEIVED HARD COPY OF INTERVIEW NOTICE IN THE MAIL.
07/28/2012 - EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDER.
08/04/2012 - EAD CARD IN HAND.
08/15/2012 - GC INTERVIEW. APPROVED. PASSPORT STAMPED.
08/20/2012 - GC CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED.
08/23/2012 - GC RECEIVED.

06/28/2014 - MAILED I-751 PACKAGE

07/05/2014 - RECEIVED NOA 1

01/15/2016 - Interviewed and Approved.

08/02/2016 - N400 Interviewed and Approved.

Go get your biometrics girl, you are lucky to have a schedule, i filed to AOS last MArch and no biometrics appointment until now.... try walking in.

I'm just curious.You don't have biometrics appointment yet?It took awhile for my biometrics appointment too.It's suppose to come within 30 days from your NOA 1.If nothing happens, you have to call and ask for a service request for you to be able to have your biometrics taken..We did this after my 30 days from NOA1 and got the biometrics appointment a week after we called.

Go get your biometrics girl, you are lucky to have a schedule, i filed to AOS last MArch and no biometrics appointment until now.... try walking in.
