N-400 Time Outside the US

Hello.

I am confused should I put YES for N-400 Part 7c question that my trip last 6 months or more.... I left the US 09/07/2011 my POA is GUAM and got there 03/07/2012 but my destination is CA which I got here 03/06/2012...

One day here or there is minor detail. The bigger issue is this -

Have you been outside the US from 09/07/2011 to 03/06/2012 ? That's almost 11 months. How are you going to explain that absence?

I think his date format is mm/dd/yyyy not dd/mm/yyyy. So He was out Sept 7th to Mar 7th.

To answer your original question, you should count part of the day you were on the US land as stay in US. So time you should count is Next day you left US (that is 8th Sept) to day you landed in US (6th Mar). Stamp on your passport will help you. In my opinion you were not outside US for more than 6 months

caforum - Thanks for correcting me. Am certainly not focused today.

6 months is counted as 180 days by USCIS. And 2012 was a leap year. So this cutting very close, hopefully the OP should be fine.
