We got our NOA2 last May 21st. My fiance called them May 30th and they told my fiance that they already received our case. They even advised my fiance to call May 31st or June 1st so we can get our case number. However, when my fiance called them, WE GOT A DIFFERENT ANSWER. They said that the case is not yet received. We didn't call since then. My fiance will call them tomorrow. Today is the 15th business day since we got our NOA2. We are hoping that we will get some good news..

Anyway, waiting a few more days or weeks is just fine. I am just confused about the DIFFERENT ANSWERS that we got from them..

:ot: And oh, my fiance will have his flight on June 19..   I am going to see him next week so the waiting period is not so frustrating! What matters most is I AM GOING TO SEE HIM SOON!! WE'LL BE TOGETHER AGAIN FINALLY! YEY! :luv:

You're welcome.

I was the fiancee overseas and called NVC myself to get the case number. My husband worked whenever they were open anyways. From now on, most things are country specific, e.g. the time it takes for your petition to arrive at the embassy in case you're looking at the K1 flowchart. I know it's hard to wait around for those small steps but at least it only a few weeks here and there, and half of the time you can spend gathering papers, preparing for medical and so on. Good luck. :)
