Traveling on AP before AOS Interview

Hi,

I'm a little concerned. My wife and I made travel plans to visit her family for 2 weeks at the end of July. She has her combined EAD/Advanced Parole card, but we really haven't heard anything regarding the AOS application. I'm afraid they are going to schedule an interview for the 2 weeks we are supposed to be gone. Will USCIS allow you to reschedule an interview? How far in advance are the interviews usually scheduled? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

5/2011 Met my wife, she was on a J1

2/25/2012 Married

3/07/2012 Sent I-130,I-485,I-765,I-131 to Chicago lockbox

3/16/12 NOA1 received along with notice that Biometric fee was missing

3/25/12 received receipt that biometric fee had been accepted

4/16/12 Biometric Appointment

5/14/12 EAD/AP card received

Still waiting for update on I-130/I-485
