Filing taxes after an abandoned Conditional Permanent Residency

Not sure if I am in the right section here (anyone know a better place to post this, please let me know-thanks!).

My husband was a Conditional Permanent Resident and filed to removed conditions. Due to extenuating circumstances we had to leave US before finalization of this and as a result, he had to abandon it.

I am currently doing our taxes (am a US citizen, filing from abroad) and am unsure how to enter information regarding him on tax forms.

He had a SSN when we were in the US, but is now considered an Non-resident alien.

Do I still put his SSN on forms or should I just put NRA?

We are currently re-doing whole process (gluttons for punishment that we are) and I don't know whether he would pick up the same SSN again so don't want to make any mistakes?

Thanks for any help with this or guidance where to post on forum.
