Hello everyone,

I have a question and tried to contact several law services offices and still haven't got any answer so just wondering if someone in here could help.

I'm holding a 10 years permanent green card but i got divorce about a year ago and got my name changed but i now want to apply for citizenship but i don't know if i'm gonna apply with my new name or my old name? Please help if someone got the answer

Sincerely

Thanks

I'm not sure if you change your name back to your maiden name, if you did then your divorce decree is enough proof of your name change. My 10year permanent resident card has my married name, but I got divorce last year , so on my n400 the lawyer used my maiden name for the application..... I already did my fingerprints with my maiden name even though my green card shows my married name.... Hope it helps
