Hi guys was wondering how the ds 160 works . Also my girl friend filled out the ds 160 application online and she is a k1 and I'm not sure if that was right it seems to me she should have gone to the state department web site and filled out the 156 157 156k and 230 online is that correct

or better yet what should we do to correct and mistakes that where made and what is the proper way thanks

DS-160 is not needed for a K1 applicant, nor is a DS-230. You were almost totally correct, your fiancee needs to fill out DS-156, DS-156k and DS-157-- however, again, no DS-230 is required.
