Interview Scheduling Process

I called the NVC today to confirm the packet 3 was received and everything was in order. They said yes and now we are waiting for my husband's interview date in Rio. It would be nice to have some lead time to plan my travel to be with him. The NVC person said that all interviews were scheduled the second week of the month and that all interviews are the following month (that would be July) or the first week of the next month (August). I asked her if the interview scheduling was ever back logged and she said no. Question: Can I count on the interview date being when she said? It turns out that mid-July is probably the worst time for my husband and me to travel. Plus, I think there are some school holidays in Brazil mid-July so I'm wondering if it is really so sure that is when our interview is likely to be. Anyone have any more info on this topic? Thanks!
