hello VJ friends!...I just had a question,i hope you guys can help me...

I will be leaving first week of June to US,and we are getting married in June 16.

my fiance's family are helping us for the preparation of the wedding.

i bought my wedding gown here,he's barong,etc.

now,for the cake.it is common here in Philippines to have souviner to give for

the guess.and i was at Divisoria i bought this native souviner, from Pampanga

they said it's made of sand from the eruption of Mount Pinatubo...when i got

home,i keep thinking if this is ok to bring to US,i'm going to hand carry it.

i know it's too much stuff to bring,i was so excited that i didn't even realized

if this would be ok to bring.i hope you guys can give me some advice...Thanks!

God bless!!!

It is generally not a tradition here to give a souvenir gift to all the guests, generally its just the wedding party. If its just sand, it shouldn't be an issue. But I hope by hand carrying, you mean they're going in your baggage. Carrying breakables or heavy objects that can easily be used as weapons is generally not allowed through security.
