Hi everyone.. I just have a question I am wayyy to stressed out because I´m definitely not a patient person due to a lot of

circumstances during these 2 months that I´ve applied... My fiance is from Pakistan but he lives in UK ... Does everybody go

into AP check for sure or does it depend on certain factors ?? I would really appreciate any answer =) Because I want to find out approximately how long it will take him to be here...crying.gifhelpsmilie.gif

People from Pakistan go through AP regardless of where they are living in the world.

I've read the UK forum about 1500 days now. Every person I know from Pakistan, India, or the Middle East has had AP, even Saana who came to the UK at 6 months of age and held a British passport. You don't always know where a person is from if they don't say on VJ so hard to know every poster's roots.

Some are even told at the interview that they are approved....but then the visa doesn't arrive. The extra security checks happen after the interview. My own observations are 4 weeks, 8 weeks all the way to almost a year. There is no way to predict the length of time, to speeed it up, or find out how much longer. You've still got a long wait ahead so might as well tame you impatience and let the wheels turn.
