Interview Scheduling at Sydney Consulate

Hi All

I tried to do my own research about this using the timeline function but could not find what I am looking for.

I want to know when your interview date was scheduled? Not the date of the interview, but the date you found out about the interview date. The reason I ask is that there is a myth going around that the NVC only schedule interviews during the first two weeks of the month but I wanted to know if that is true for Sydney.

Also, has anyone had success in rescheduling their interview?

Thanks in advance.

Sydney only has their interviews on Tuesday mornings (at least for K visas anyway). My interview was May 15, which was scheduled on April 26.

I tried to move that date forward but didn't have any luck. I know someone on here has had success in doing that though, so if you ask, you might be lucky! (I don't know about moving the interview date back though)

Hope that helps!

Rough Timeline

  • Visa arrived in hand May 21 2012
