interview without a notice yet

the NVC recieved the approved petition on sep 18 then they sent a letter saying that they will forward the package within a week. My fiancee called the embassy and they told her that she could get a better information through out the email. So she wrote an email asking if they recieved the package but they didnt tell her if they recieved or not instead they told her that her interview would take place on Nov, 2 at 8:30am that's weird dont you guys think? Having an interview without still recieving the letter from the embassy. Anybody have any idea why is that or she still would have to wait for that letter?

No packet 3 or letter, just an interview date? I suggest you contact the Embassy Consular Section again and inquire about documents required and so forth for the interview.
