Hey guys!! I am thinking about going to Nigeria to have a private wedding. What I would like to know is their anyone that know about the marriage license fees as well as having a ceremony at the clerk of courts in Nigeria

The license fees vary, I have heard of couple who paid as little as N5000 and some as much as N60000. Be careful for when they see a foreigner the price goes up. Nigerians marrying Nigerians pay about N1000, so imagine?

The ceremony is simple at the registry level. It takes about two hours from start to finish and it could be as small or as large as you like. It is held weekdays as well as weekends. Good luck!
