GC- wrong date

Oh, man.

My husband got his GC in March. We've been so happy that we are done for a year and a half (ROC).

However, today he noticed that the date is wrong: they put his issue date as 2011 instead of 2012. Needless to say, I'm livid, and annoyed that we didn't see it before.

Do we need to file an I-90 and send it in? Will we get in trouble for him not having done this earlier? We just noticed it now! How long does it generally take? Do we need to pay even though it is USCIS error?

And-- more importantly-- we have a trip planned out of the country. Can we not do that now? I'm VERY annoyed!

We made an INFOPASS appointment. We'll see how that goes.

Go ahead and travel on the card. Then fix the error when you get back. This thread should guide you:

Our journey together on this earth has come to an end.

I will see you one day again, my love.
