Hello there,

My parents are from Pakistan. I am the petitioner and have applied for their GC (IR5). I-130 was approved in Jan, I-864 in March 2012 and DS-230 (form I and II) along with pertinent documents (birth certificates, police certificates, etc.) on May 4. All original documents both for petitioner and beneficiaries were sent as part of the DS-230 package.

Yesterday, I received email from NVC (with PDF document attached) that their cases are complete and have been forwarded to Islamabad, Pakistan for processing. The interview date is mentioned as June 1st.

Here are my questions:

- I read a lot about Packet 3, 3.5 and 4. What are these?

- Will my parents get any postal mail for these packets?

- Do they need to wait for any of these packets to arrive before they go for their medical exam or should they just take the pdf document that I received in the email yesterday that mentions the interview date and visa category to medical examiner? The NVC website states to take packet 3.5 and I do not know what it is.

- Are there any other forms/documents to be completed prior to the interview?

Greatly appreciate your assistance.

Best Regards.
