No, but you have given me another item to look for/put a hold on when I go to the library later though. I'm curious anyways.

I just finished Deborah Scroggins' book about Aafia Siddiqui and Ayaan Hirsi Ali. It was a pretty interesting read.

It was. And a fair skewering of Ali and her frauds. I would have liked a bit more oomph to said skewering, but then I'm not as nice as Deborah Scroggins.

Aafia's story is just... !!! The author does some good digging around, but it's still basically impossible to nail down what exactly happened there. It's one tragic mess of a story. I liked the format of the book too-it's dozens of short chapters that go back and forth between the subjects. One chapter about Aafia, the next about Ayaan. It makes for an interesting compare and contrast while you're reading their stories.
