K1 petition was approved after months of waiting... then I asked him to start collecting documents needed for the interview. Then he said,he can't do it because he has no money. I got upset because all I wanted him do for now is the Police clearance from abroad because it will take weeeeekkksss for the foreign consulate to work it out, then he said he doesn't have the money? I blatantly told him that MONEY is not the real problem but maybe he is not interested anymore or he has another relationship going on. It was just an excuse,a subtle way of telling me not to pursue what we started. I was so mad...that I am starting to feel resentment towards him. Yeah I understand he has no job but MONEY isn't a justified excuse not to ACT and at least show a little motivation to know how to obtain police certificate from a foreign consulate.

... I feel like he was just waiting for a dole out... or maybe he's not into it. People just don't realize how much effort and time one spends in preparing a K1 packet..not to mention the effort and emotion invested just to make a long distance relationship to work. maybe for some people, MONEY MAKES THE WORLD GO AROUND.
