Hi ok so I am 18 years old and I am almost accumulating fully 1 of the 2 years of my conditional 2 year green card permanent residency, I filed for a green card a few days before I was 18. Ok so that was a little history about my 2 year green card now my question is because my dad currently hasn't come over and still waiting for his paperwork and an "ok" to come over to the states, his wife (my stepmom) is a permanent resident, but right now they are having arguments and such blah blah blah and I believe when my time comes to file for an extension (to 10 year green card) they will have a divorce? So when I do file for the extension like the person who interviewed me told me to file the same form the i-751, will I still be eligible to and stay in the country? Do I need my stepmom's approval and what if she denies it? (To try to get back at my dad)?

How is this gonna work guys I want to stay and study school here and live in the U.S.!

Stepmother must sign the papers to show that you'll are still functioning as a family. If parents are divorced then you will need to send in a copy ofthe divorce creed.
