Hello,

For the I_864, do we use the "total wages, salaries, tips etc" from the first line of the tax return transcript or do we use the "adjusted gross income per computer" from the tax transcript.

I am a little confused about this, so any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I have the tax transcript instead of the actual form and they do not state the line numbers.......

cokebbeh,

You didn't keep a copy of the return you submitted to the IRS?

Try looking at a blank Form 1040, find the wording on the proper line, then see if you can find that wording on the transcript.

Or start filling out the blank 1040 as you did when you originally filled out the form until you get to the proper line. The information you need will be on the transcript and you should be able to follow along.
