Going to England to pick up Fiance

Is it ok to say to the UK immigration that I am entering the UK for two weeks to pick up my fiance to bring him back to the US so he can immigrate to the US? I would bring in proof of his intended immigration.

He's not approved for his K1 yet so it will be tricky no matter how you do it....he is technically entering on the VWP, but with intent to immigrate. I defer to someone with more knowledge.

Also, he will need to interview in the UK so he is not immigrating at this time! Did you know he has to interview there?

When I went over for our interview, I just answered that I was on holiday.

I had a big wheelie case as a carry on which contained all our documents. I figured if I had to prove I was going home, there was probably some evidence in there.

OK, I was confused. I don't think it matters what you tell them. I'd say visiting my fiance to avoid too many questions.

ha! I am slow at work now so I have to occupy my brain from obsessing over the fact that 30 days from today, I'm getting married. :o:o:o

haha. My fiance needs to get used to dates in US format as well. Luckily our fancy wedding is 2/2 so no worries about writing the date for the UK peeps!

I miss Blighty SO MUCH but he really wants to get America a try....
