suggestions of place to stay while having CFO in manila?

You will need to go to SMEF-COW (St. Mary Euphrasia Foundation, Inc - Center for Overseas Workers) first for the Consular seminar. Then you will need to got to CFO Office for the CFO sticker.

Hotel suggestions. It all depends on your budget. Here are a two budget hotels in Cebu near CFO Office and SMEF-COW.

Mango Park Hotel

(2 Blocks from SMEF-COW Office)

SMEF-COW (St. Mary Euphrasia Foundation, Inc - Center for Overseas Workers)

http://www.mangoparkhotel.com/roomtype.htm

Single Occupancy PHP 1,850.00 / 43.50 USD per night

Double Occupancy PHP 2,875.00 / 67.52 USD per night

Sampaguita Suites-Plaza Garcia

(2 Blocks from CFO Office)

Free pick up from the airport to Hotel. Note: You need to contact them and give a copy of your flight info so they can schedule your pick-up.

Single Standard (Good for 1 Person) P698 / 16.39 USD per night

Matrimonial Standard (Good for 2 Persons) P898 / 21 USD per night

Sampaguita Suites-Plaza Garcia isn't as close as Mango Park Hotel is to the SMEF-COW office(Consular Seminar). Mango Park Hotel isn't as close as Sampaguita Suites-Plaza Garcia is to CFO Office (CFO Sticker).

It's your choose on budget and what is more convenient. Either way you will need to take a taxi from one location to next and back. Walk with extra cash P3500 should be more than enough for CFO & Seminar fees, Taxi fares, Food and transportation back to the airport.

Here is Cebu CFO walk-through I found:

   Sorry!! This is what happens when you are doing to many things at once. Mix-up CFO Cebu Info for CFO Manila Info. If anybody needs the details on CFO Cebu see above information.

Now For CFO in Manila there are so many Hotels, Condotels and Budget hotels. It's not hard to find a one.

You want to search for hotels in Malate or Ermita. Here are a few Hotels and Condotels.

Executive Plaza

Gran Prix

Lotus Garden

Baywatch Condotels

Mabini Mansion

You will need to take a taxi to and from CFO Citigold Center building. Walk with extra cash P4500 should be more than enough for CFO & Seminar fees, Taxi fares, Food and transportation to and from the airport.

As for SMEF-Center for Overseas Workers. I don't know any hotels in that area. You would take a taxi from your hotel to SMEF-Center for Overseas Workers.
