Anyone have any experience in contacting US Embassy in Islamabad. My in laws gave interview a about 2 month or so ago and were told that they would get something later after they have finished reviewing. Haven't heard anything and it has been a few months now.

I tried their email form on the website and that didn't yield any response. Does anyone know how to contact them via phone and if that would help.

Someone with this experience in the past can be a great help. Thanks.

We had an interview for our f2a visa on Feb 8th, they took our passports, gave us back our original paper work back and gave us tokens and yet we have been waiting for our passports since then. It has been more than 70 days, and still no news. I tried calling/emailing US embassy in Islamabad many times but no reply. I called the DOS in US and they give us the same response....YES THE AP. It's still pending. U can reach out to DOS at 202-663-1225 ( option 1 and then option 0) and find out more about your in laws case.

Good luck

Are you talking about the embassy or DOS?

The number 202-663-1225 is to the Visa Center in Washington DC and they are closed on Wednesdays afternoons. So if your wife calls that number, have her wait until tomorrow. They are usually open from 8-5. I just didn't want her to call and have them tell her the office is closed and cause her some confusion.

Did you your wife call in?

Yea we called and they said the case is administrative review and there is nothing that can be done to expedite the case and they can take as long as they want and there is estimated time for this. Its approaching 3 months now and we haven't heard anything. Is anyone experiencing the same type of delay and know how long they usually take if you have had this experience in the past.
