I don't know anyone who has done this, because it is unnecessary. As long as you enter the USA after the second anniversary, you will be issued the ten year greencard, no matter when the interview was. Make sure you point out the immigration officer at the border that your anniversary has passed, and you will be fine.

Yup Yup - this is sufficient.

What seems to be a PITA is to REMEMBER to handle this at the POE. If the CBP officer seems dazed and confused, ask for a supervisor, ask to go into secondary to wait for a supervisor.

IMO, waiting a few hours (well, up to a few hours) at the border crossing / POE is well worth the hassle of not having to file for ROC later.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
