Do we need a co-sponsor??

I'd appreciate anyone's input on this...

My fiance's (USC) annual salary meets the income requirement, however, he only started this job June of 2005 so his income tax return of 2005 does not meet the income requirement.

He does not have anyone to co-sponsor him in the States. Can a letter from his employer stating that his employment is in good standing and makes XXX amount for his salary enough?

Thank you in advance!

larrysgirl,

I don't know if the letter from the employer will be enough, but it will be most helpful if not essential.

The total income for 2005 does not need to meet the requirement - it's the annualized income that they're looking for - June to December income for 2005 was how much on an annualized basis?

Also important is work and income history prior to June 2005 - being a full-time student has a much different impact than being in the workforce but unemployed and unable to find or hold a job.
