Here is the link to the RGB website:

http://rgd.gov.jm/?q=certificate_production

According to the site you need the following to order BC online:

Full and correct name of child,

Parish of birth,

Child's Gender- male or female,

Mother’s name,

Child's Date of birth,

Father’s name

Place of birth: name of hospital or address of home Birth entry number,

District of birth Place of registration

The fees are listed on the website but I will contact the RGD to confirm the fee for your particular situation and needs.

Hope this helps.

I'd encourage you stay ON TOP of this agency. They are NOT known for their efficiency or being on time with their deliverables. Try to order the BCs well before time so you won't have to order express processing e.g. 7-days, because I can almost guarantee you it will NOT happen in 7 days. Keep the copy of your application and the receipt of your application status so that you'll have records if anything goes awry with your order.

well let me tell u a little something about the rgd. They are the worse!! I ordered my marriage license on March 19th and i paid $85US for it to be shipped to me in 7-10 business days. So on the 26th I called and ask why i still dont have it and they told me they dont ship to po box(I EVER KNEW THAT, SO PLEASE DONT USE A PO BOX)So i gave them a house address and they said i will get in 48hrs(2days) time. Never got it! So on tuesday (4/10/12) i had my friend in jamaica go to the rgd and tell them whats up with the paper and i need it asap i paid a lot of money and ray ray ray...so they said be patient and its going to come they going to send it..they had a nasty attitude by the way! So today praise God i get it in the mail. So almost a month it took to get here...Jamaica deal with paperwork very slow!!! I kno its a 3rd world country but DDAMNNN!! You can order birth certificates on their website but be on their asses about it. If you want a 7-10 day shipping its $85US and for 3-5 weeks its $55US..GOOD LUCK
