automated phone system-case status

I think we all know how inaccurate the system is online for case status updates, but what about the automated service on the Customer Service (1-800-375-5283) line? Does it accurately reflect the step the case is in (or is it just reading what the online account says)?

Any insight would be great.....

5 MAR 2012 - I-129F packet sent via FedEx

7 MAR 2012 - Packet received Dallas, Texas


12 MAR 2012 - NOA1 (notice by Text/Email: routed to the Vermont Service Center)

15 MAR 2012 - NOA1 (received Official Receipt Notice (Form I-797))

X XXX XXXX - NOA2 (Notice by text message and Email)

Unfortunately, none of these are accurate enough to rely on. You will have to wait for some type of documentation because each place you call gives you different info....and most of it is inaccurate

Married: 6/17/11

I-130 Sent: 7/9/11

NOA1 : 7/14/11

I-129F Sent: 7/21/11

NOA1: 7/21/11

NOA2: 8/22/11

NVC Received: 8/24/11

NVC Left: 8/26/11

Consulate Received: 9/5/11

Packet 4 Received: 10/4/11

Medical Done: 11/7/11

Interview: 11/23/11

Approved: 11/23/11

Changed to CR1: 12/16/11

Medical Re-Done: 1/5/12

Waiting for Issuance of Visa.........
