visa pending and sputum culture test

Timeline

hi everybody

i m kind of dillema...my wife had her 8 weeks sputum culture test and yesterday it was passed 8 weeks.she call IOM today and they say we r not allowed to tell the result over phone.they even dont called in whole 8 weeks too.i think it means the result is good.but why they dont give the information.they told the report was directly send to the US embassy of nepal and the chest xray will provided by us when u r in the IOM office.so my question is IS my wife sputum culture is good? if she got active bacteria for TB they must be called with in 3,4 weeks right?is it ok to go embassy now and ask for her visa.....so confused ...plz help
