hi my vj friends can anyone tell me what is the current rease time from your appointment till they release your passport for pickup thk you

Here is the processing time for whichever fee you paid at DFA.

It will take:

Regular Processing: Php 950.00 (15 working days)

Rush Processing: Php 1,200.00 (7 working days)

hi! In DFA Manila, normally its 15 working days after your appointment but it depends on

what you applied for. There's also rush processing in which the release of the passport

is 7 working days after your appearance for pick up at DFA, and 8 working days if to be

delivered to you. goodluck!

my wife had already paid for our 2yr old dianas passport but since she only had dianas nso birth certificate n had registered her birth late she had to get dianas baptismal certificate which she now has because when late registered n after 2001 n under 18 they want two forms of id or documents for diana but im wondering how come if she already paid for dianas passport n my wife hasthe other document they need why does she still have to make an appointment?which she is doing today. my wife told me she will go to the dfa to make the appointment n shes estimating it will take a week or more to actually get an appointment?does this sound like a correct estimate or timeframe? thk you so much for responding

As you have stated. Due to the Late register of Birth. She needs to provided the additional documentation to DFA in order to process the passport application. Yes. DFA is a appointment based process. Yes it is normal to have to make another appointment to submit the additional supporting documents. The appointment date is average of a 7 business days or more.

DFA states:

If your Birth Certificate was Late Registered

If registered on or before 2000: submit 1 original supporting document indicating full name, date and place of birth, and citizenship prior to the date of late registration.

If registered on or after 2001: submit 2 original supporting documents indicating full name, date and place of birth, and citizenship prior to the date of late registration.

Certified True Copy of Birth Certificate

Certified True Copy (CTC) of BC issued by the Local Civil Registrar with dry seal if BC SECPA is unreadable.

Other Supporting Documents

Please bring the following if they are available.

Marriage Contract

Land Title

Driver's License

Government Service Record

School Form 137 or Transcript of Records with dry seal

Other documents that show full name and birth details of applicant and/or citizenship

Voter's Registration Record from COMELEC Intramuros

Baptismal Certificate with dry seal

Seaman's Book

Income Tax Return (Old)

NBI Clearance
