Welcome to the forum!

There is a tab called guides up at the top of the screen... http://www.visajourney.com/content/guides

Then you click on CR-1/IR-1 visa http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?autocom=custom&page=i130guide1

Read those guides and let us know if you have any questions.

Being that you are not a US citizen, it will take a really long time to petition for your husband, but it can be done.

Here is the process on USCIS website: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=75783e4d77d73210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=75783e4d77d73210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD

also, if you become a US citizen during the process, it will speed up the process,. You just need to let the USCIS know that you completed the process.

Refreshing to see such a polite and helpful answer.

We don't need to chastise every new member to visajourney who isn't familiar with a web forum or doesn't know what is now obvious to us because we have been through the process.

Thanks Scott and Mhay.
