Hey Guys! I have a question from a friend of mine that wants to file a I-130 for his wife and stepson. I am assuming he needs to file seperate I-130's and G-325a's for both of them, but does he also have to pay seperate $420 fees as well? Where can I direct him to a guide to help him file for his wife and stepson specifically? Any and all help greatly appreciated! Thanks

Chastity

Yes he will have to file seperate for the wife and stepson. He will also have to pay the $420 twice. I am currently doing this as well but for two step daughters. Everything is separate but you can mail them in together in the same package and include a letter requesting that they be processed together. I am currently waiting for my NOA2 but from what I have been told everything is separate as far as fees except for when you do the AOS (affidavit of support) payment. If done online I have been told you can get away with paying the $88 fee once. Good luck to your friend.
