Hi,

I know there are rating systems and charts about the hotels in Manila, but can you tell me your experience with particular hotel? We want to get something within walking distance of the embassy for our interview Tuesday. Thanks!

2011-08-16: RFE Reply Sent

2011-08-18: RFE Reply Received at USCIS

2011-09-19: NOA2 approved

2011-10-12: Received NVC

2011-10-20: Paid $88 fee

2011-11-29 NVC submitted

2011-12-08 NVC approved

2011-12-12 Received interview date - need to change

2012-02-01 New Interview Date - need to change again - sputum required

2012-01-11 Medical - 3 day sputum required

2012-01-18 Begin 3 day sputum test

2012-01-23 Results of Sputum negative now wait for 2 month culture

2012-03-21 ***culture results*** NEGATIVE!!!

2012-03-27 Interview!!!

***APPROVED***

2012-03-30 IR-1 delivered, still waiting for IR-2

2012-04-04 IR-2 Delivered!!!

2012-06-08 POE LA

2012-06-20 SS card arrives

2012-06-26 Green Cards arrive

2012-07-03 Health Dept calls for follow-up TB testing?

** Ramona went through more testing including xrays. The doctor said he couldn't find any evidence of Tb and cleared her for everything.

When I had my medical and interview last year I stayed at Cherry Blossoms at Ermita it was just ok and safe. It wasn't a luxurious hotel but fits on my budget :)

AOS Journey

2-22-2012 - Mailed in AOS/EAD/ paperwork.

2-28-2012 - Return Receipt.

3-05-2012 - NOA I-797C received for I-485, I-765 and biometrics appointment for 3-29-2012

3-07-2012 - Sent Notice to Reschedule Appointment at local ASC by certified mail

3-10-2012 - Return Receipt

3-20-2012 - received text/email the case is transferred

3-24-2012 - NOA I-797C notice received that the case is transferred at CSC

3-30-2012 - Received NOA I-797 New Biometrics Appointment for 4-24-2012

4-24-2012 - BIOMETRICS and same day my I-765 status is in production

4-30-2012 - received text/email notification EAD is on my way

5-03-2012 - received EAC

9-10-2012 - GC/DOCUMENT PRODUCTION

9-11-2012 - CSC mail out the Welcome Letter

9-12-2012 - CSC mail out the Green Card

9-14-2012 - Welcome Letter received

9-15-2012 - Green Card received

Bayview Hotel is just across the embassy,

we stayed there last March 14 - 15,...

Room is nice, as well as the bathroom,

my only comment is that the aircondition is really WEAK,

and their WiFi connection is really SLOW,

but if you can overlook those things, then with its price

and location, this one is just fine,...

I stayed at Boulevard Mansion Hotel which was less than 5min. walk to the embassy. I stayed there twice for interview and the day I left for the U.S

It's a decent hotel which has spacious room it includes mini kitchen and good wifi in every floor and it's free...

I would recommend this hotel. Room rate was Php 1,650 a night.

After the interview I was back in hotel room really fast and was online right away and shared the news
