Wow, a question just for me!

I got NOA2 in late March and my case was forwarded to NVC and from there to Rio. They sent me packet 3 and I mailed them back the forms, copy of passport and passport picture. I then got packet 4 and my interview was scheduled for June 6th. 2 weeks before the interview - if I remember correctly - the consulate called to let me know my case had been sent back to U.S. due to a new law (IMBRA). So... we waited for the RFE for the case to be reapproved (or reaffirmed, as USCIS worded it). The case was again sent to NVC and Rio and, because I had already sent them the forms and documens required as per packet 3, I got another packet 4 with a new interview date. Actually, I've gotten 3 new packets 4 (identical packets). And that's my story... No secrets...

However, if you follow our tips - http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/inde...zil&cty=Rio De Janereiro - you'll be able to send out the documents before your fiance gets packet 3 in the mail and you'll save some time.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.
