Error in filling I-130, will I get RFE? Please help.

Hi all,

I mailed my AOS package on Wednesday and got a delivery confirmation yesterday. This morning, it suddenly struck me that I may have made an unintentional error.

In Form I-130, question 14, where it asks for the date when authorized stay will expire as per I-94, I filled in the date my OPT expires (which is 22 June this year) whereas on my I-94 it give me until my F1 visa expires (which is until December 2013). I am not renewing my F1 visa, so once my OPT expires, my F1 validity also expires for all practical purposes. That was how I looked at it while filling the application. Now, I am thinking I may not be right.

I have attached both my F1 visa copy and I-94 along with the I-130 petition.

Will this be considered incorrect filing? Or will this result in a RFE?

Or should I send a certified mail to USCIS straight away, explaining the error?

Please advise, I am getting very worried.

Because I-94 card for F-1 student visa holders has no "real" Expiry date.

Some usually write D/S ( duration of status) which is what is stamped on your I-94 card

Others write the Visa expiry date

some others, I-20 expiry date

& some a combo of any of above but It seems to never matter, So don't stress about RFE on that
