I-134 question -- supplement?

So here's the deal, I've got a co-sponsor, but I still want to be sure that my I-134 looks as good as possible, just to be safe. Now my problem is that I am self-employed, but never actually made the company legal (I'm a residential faux painter). I'm in the process of making it legal now, but there's no tax returns or anything, so it will basically look like I'm a bum who took unemployment for a bit of the year and hasn't done anything since. So my question is - would it be a good idea to just attach a note to the I-134 saying that my company is too new to have any tax returns? I can't even put that I make a salary really if I can't prove that I have a company somehow. Send them a business card maybe haha. Any thoughts?

-August 28,2012 RFE
-September 05,2012 RFE sent and They received it on Sept.13th
-October 10,2012 EAD approved
-October 18,2012 EAD card in the mail.Yey

-September 6,2013 Green card APPROVED!!!!

You never declared your income on your personal taxes? (from your company)

If it was over $400.00 - you were supose to - even if you didn't make a company to generate it. (income is income to the IRS)

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Sorry, don't know how to edit the original post but have another question - It says to send originals of all documentary proof that was submitted with the I-129f, so does that mean that they'll want the original receipts and plane tickets that I photocopied? I don't care about the receipts, but I'd rather keep the plane tickets if I can help it.

Ok - gotcha.

You will have to go with what you have - however, since you have a co-sponsor - their info is more important than yours.

Depending on the embassy your going through - you may have issues - so hopefully someone that went through there can chime in.
