My apologies im talking about the CR-1 (i-130)

Well I have checked a few places and I don't see anything about it having to be legalized. I am not really familiar with the CR-1 process. From what I have seen is that you just have to have a copy of the original marriage certificate but check the link to be sure. Not a problem at all. Glad I can help but I am sure some more experienced people will answer this later today so we will find out for sure how much I really helped (LOL), but it seems to be extremely straight forward. If you have the actual marriage license it is already a certified document...

Not a problem at all. Glad I can help but I am sure some more experienced people will answer this later today so we will find out for sure how much I really helped (LOL), but it seems to be extremely straight forward. If you have the actual marriage license it is already a certified document...

The certificates(Marriage, birth) need to be inextensa and legalized.

Please fill out your timeline appropriately with country (since right now your country on your TL says Armenia) and what type of visa you are doing so people can help you. And Matt is right you WILL need MC, BC inextensa (this means the long format) and legalized for when you get to NVC. :star:
