I just got an email from USCIS - Alerting me to an interview on June 4th. Online status has changed to reflect this too.

It has raised two questions though:

1. With an interview being so close what are the chances of my EAD/AP being approved?

2. If an interview has been set, can I still get an RFE before the interview date?

:wow: :wow: :wow: from yesterday to being in "acceptance" to "interview" like that's really really good! i can assume that means ur case is progressing well and yes u can very well get ur EAD/AP approved before the interview.. if not u will just be given ur GC outright which is what we all really need anyway....

Good Luck!!

my case is still in "initial review" since march 19th I can only hope some progress is made this week...I am beginning to wonder if there is a problem with my case :( I just want to be able to do the simple things now... drive, take my son out for ice cream, have some independence..

Hi, here are my dates:

NOA Date : 2012-03-23

Bio. Appt. : 2012-04-24

Approved Date : 2012-05-02

I didn't know walking in early was a possibility so I didn't do that, just waited for my appointment date. I received the appointment letter right at the end of March I think.

I got my bio appt for 9th April, I did an early walk in 19th March... didn't get the EAD notification till today... 3 and a half weeks after the appt date. So, not sure it makes anything happen any quicker, I think where you are makes a huge difference. But it looks like they are working on filers at the beginning of March... there is a March filers forum (mainly those adjusting from visitors visas) and most of us who had filed in the first week of March have had notifications in the past 3 days. K1's might be a little different. Not sure if this helps.
