Waiting for a London interview date

Hello all, Wonder if anyone could offer advice... I returned package 3 on the 19th of September but have yet to receive any reponse from the London embassy... It's now the 5th of October. Should I be getting worried yet?! I can see from other people's timelines that this is not so unusual in so far as waiting for packet 4 is concerned, but I haven't even had an acknowlegement of receipt... is this normal? I'm worried something may have been lost in the post!

Did you send it by special delivery or similar so that it was signed for? If so you can contact the post office to see if and when it arrived. Having said that it can somtimes take 6 weeks plus to receive an interview date from London. What i did was email them asking them if they had a date for me...might be worth a try...what i wouldn`t do, is call them as they never have an answer and it costs a fortune. Hope you hear something soon

From them receiving P3 & us receiving P4, it took 2 weeks.

have you tried calling the DOS line? I sent my packet three back on the 14th, and received my packet 4 yesterday, but they had the interview date on monday when Ed rung them. So give that a go!

I didn't get a receipt notice at all, I even rung them up from here just last Friday and they said they hadn't received my packet three yet, so don't worry!

Thanks for the responses... tried email but received kafkaesque response saying unless i had offical authorization to use this email address, no one was going to reply to me. What is the "DOS line"?

DOS is the Department of State. The number is 202-663-1225 then press 1-1-0 to talk with an operator. Make sure you have your case number. They were very helpful to me with providing info on my husband's case!
