Just Called NVC today and our case forwarded to Consulates yesterday,so whats next?

Did they provide you with the interview date? If not, in a few days, you should get the letter notifying you of the interview date and what you need to take with you to the interview. You have to do the medical test. They'll send you the details when they send you the interview notice. All you have to do now is prepare for the interview.

I thought you had to schedule an interview? They automatically give you a date?

We didn't scheduled Interview yet and we are waiting Packet 3 from Embassy/Consulates and I think they will let us know the interview date right? Or do we need to schedule by our selves? And I need some one help me finding form DS-157 please? I didn't get its link and I hope you could help:)

K3 filing / interview may be done on a walk-in basis if the petitioner appears at the Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Consulate in person and pleads his/her case sufficiently. Otherwise, the Consulate will schedule the interview within 6-10 weeks of receiving the file from the NVC. Upon receiving packet 3, the applicant should complete all documents requested on the checklist and obtain both the medical and police certificate. Medical takes appr. 3 days total to complete. Police Certificate takes 2 weeks but can be expedited upon request The problem in terms of total processing time appears to be that the Consulate will take time to actually send out packet 3 (word is that this may take 1-2 months easily). If the USC petitioner is in Addis, the petitioner can pick-up packet 3 at the Consulate by showing the NVC letter. This speeds things up dramatically.
