On the form it asks for a date of travel... does this mean you can't apply for a travel doc if you do not have a pending date of travel, I just awanted it to have on hand in case for me and for sure a Christmas visit home for the kids. What's up with the date, if i leave it blank what happens they say no? What about the use, can you use it more than one time?

Answer the date of travel question, don't leave it blank. The answer does not have to be a specific day, month, and year.

How many times you can use the travel document depends in large part on how you answer question 1 of Part 7.
