Filed: K-3 Visa Country: India

Hello all,

As I posted a few days ago my wife's K3 interview at Mumbai (India) went okay and the interviewing officer said that you got your visa as soon as your submit a notarized birth certificate as per 221(g).

She did that the very same day and the local VFS office told her that her passport would be ready with Visa the next day.

Passport wasn't ready the next day and she went again today to receive her passport without a Visa stamp and a plain letter saying that "your case is on hold, please contact us in January by mail." No other explanations what so ever.

She's going back to the counsulate tomorrow to find out more.

She was supposed to be home with me this Saturday :( :( What a shock to us.

Someone please tell me what this entails......we're both very sad.

Thank you!
