Does anybody have experience with the Community Property Worksheet? I live in a community property state and I am filing my taxes as Married Filing Separately. On the Community Property Worksheet, it asks for the Spouse's Social Security Number and State of Residency. I plan to put NRA for the Social Security Number. In the State of Residency field, would I put spouse's country of residency? Thanks.

For my personal circumstances, MFS was the better option.

I called the IRS Tax Help Line and the woman I spoke to (Ms. Palmer) instructed me to put my state of residency.
