Do I need to fill AR-11 if the application has my new address on it?

HI.I just sent in my I-751 Form for removing conditions to the USCIS.

We moved to a new address 5 days before I sent it so I filled it out with the new address.

I am wondering if that is enough ( the information about the change of address on my application or if I still should fill out the form AR-11.

If yes, can I just do the online one?

Because the instructions for I-751 say:"If you change your address and you have an application or petition PENDING with USCIS you MAY change your address...AR-11"

So first of all my petition already has the new address and second of all they are saying you MAY, not that you have to.

Sorry - little confusin for me.

Thanks

Yes the I-751 instructions do use "may," however, the USCIS here uses the word "must."

Many people forget to do a change of address and have no problems, even some submit a change of address online and sometimes the new address is not updated in a timely manner, if at all in some cases. Submitting the AR-11 or submitting the info online is pretty simple and you'd be in compliance. Yes you can do a change of address online.
