Hi,

I need some advices. On the #25 on the DS-230 form, they ask to list the dates of all previous visits to the United States. The problem is that 10 years ago, I went there frequently and I don't remember the dates - I didn't keep the previous passports.

What should I do?

Thank you,

Cecile.

Good question, I would add a separate note explaining that and giving the year.

I'd like to ask too, what do you put for 'visa' if you entered on the visa waiver program and didn't have one?

On the DS-230 you are able to attach a seperate sheet to add addtional information regarding the questions, this also gives you the oppertunity to explain your situation. If I were you I would list all the visits that you can remember, and then attach additional information explaining that you cant remember the exact dates, and list the year that you went. Always enter as much information as you can

As for your question m&s06 under visa I would put 'Waiver'

Good luck to you both on the rest of your journeys !!

CecileM,

Answer questions to the best of your ability.

In this particular instance, it seems that the best of your ability might be something along the lines of '1996, 8 visits of 2 weeks or less each'.

Hi,

Thank you for your answer.

I don't know what a visa waiver program is. Is it when the tourist visa is included in the passport type of thing, like a 3 months ability of staying in the country?

In that case I wouldn't write anything or write just what you said : VWP

Cécile.
