Can we Choose between Montreal and Vancouver

Hi Guys,

Im new to all of this and my fiance has already sent out the I-129F already. On it, I put down Vancouver Canada, as my foreign U.S. Consulate. I currently reside in Ontario and I am wondering if I made a mistake by doing that or will they actually sent it to Vancouver because that is where I would like it to go. Please let me know

Ok thnx for the replies, I hope Montreal moves fast. Im hoping 6 months if all goes well, but im staying positive.

I lived in Toronto and had my current address listed as a residence in ON. I requested to go to Vancouver as that is where I am from and I wanted to see my family while having my interview.

I had my K-1 interview in Vancouver as requested.

The U.S. Consulate General in Vancouver processes fiancé(e) (K1) and spouse (K3) cases for citizens of Canada, or aliens who are Canadian permanent residents. Applicants must also be residing in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, the Yukon or the Northwest Territories. All other applicants in Canada are processed at the U.S. Consulate General in Montreal.

not sure how you get to choose Vancouver unless you move out of Ontario.
